Microblading

  • All clients need to have a patch test carried out prior to treatment. This can be collected from clinic and has to be arranged in advance.

We also offer a postal service at an additional charge to send this out if thats more convenient to you.

Please ensure you have completed a patch test a min of 48hrs prior to your treatment.

It is the sole responsibility of you, the client to arrange this.

Failure to have a patch test will result in the treatment not being able to go ahead and the booking fee lost/full cost of the treatment may be requested.

  • Microblading is a semi permanent treatment designed to give the appearance of natural looking eyebrow hairs. Using individually placed hair strokes with a hand held tool comprising of tiny metal pins that looks like a blade. This technique is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance their brows, change their shape, has little to no hair or would like to perfect their existing brow. This is a highly skilled technique that requires years to perfect.

  • Microblading is not a tattoo as it doesn’t go to as deep as a tattoo and different pigments/colours are used. However, this is still considered a more semi permanent treatment option and must be considered in detail before undertaking. It is your responsibility to research the treatment and find an artist you trust and whose work you like. If you have any questions on this treatment that aren’t covered in this section, please get in touch and we’d be happy to help.

  • Microblading typically lasts between 1-3 years. The retention will depend on a number of factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, health conditions, medications, age, use of sun beds and following pre/post treatment advice. The pigments used are designed to degrade within the skin and your body’s lymphatic system to remove them. How quickly and effectively this happens is bespoke to you. Microblading is not recommended if you have particularly oily skin, large pores or very thin skin.

  • Microblading is ideal if you have over plucked, sparse brows, gaps or simply if you’d like a more defined natural looking brow. Microblading produces a softer result than other semi permanent makeup treatments. Suitable for the majority of ages if the skin is in good condition and depending on results desired. Please get in touch to discuss in more detail based on your individual requirements. **Microblading is not suitable for all and as such we will advise if this is the case and suggest alternative options.

  • Pain is relative however this treatment would not be considered painful. The scratch sensation is more than tolerable and products can be applied to ease any discomfort if necessary. If you have a particularly lower pain threshold, it is advised to avoid this treatment during your menstrual cycle as well as ensuring to follow all pre treatment advice such as sleeping well beforehand, eating and drinking well as this will all impact your sensitivity levels and overall comfort during the treatment. It’s also advised to wait several months post breast feeding due to hormone/sensitivity levels.

  • Microblading is considered a multi treatment process. In the vast majority of cases two treatments are enough to achieve the desired results. In some cases multiple treatments may be required. This is done typically between 6-12 weeks. The follow up session is vital to allow tweaks, colours changes and add-ons to the brow once fully healed. Think of it more of a perfecting session. You will have the initial session which is the start of the process and the follow up session allows us to make any changes necessary. For example, if you heal lighter than expected, have some missing strokes, need to alter the shape etc, this is all completely normal and should be expected.

This follow up session must be booked in advanced.

  • The initial treatment cost and the follow up session are individually priced (however both sessions are required).

Any additional sessions will incur an extra fee. If the follow up session is booked after 12 weeks, an additional fee will apply so for this reason it is vital that both the initial and the follow up session are booked in advance. If your follow up session is cancelled at short notice it is highly unlikely you’ll be able to reschedule this within the required time frame to avoid an additional charge so please double check in advance the dates booked are suitable.

  • Microblading is a bespoke treatment and anyone with existing colour in the skin should first book an in clinic consultation to see if what you’d like to be achieved can be, and/or expectations managed. This is vital so that the skin can be checked for damage, scarring and suitability.

  • Before booking a Microblading treatment, it is essential to find out if you are a suitable candidate for this treatment. If you are unsure, or have any questions, please get in touch. If you are on any medications, it is your responsibility to inform the artist of this. Microblading is only suitable for those over 18, not pregnant, or breast feeding and not on certain medications, particularly those that thin the blood. This does not mean you cannot have Microblading, but in some cases a confirmation letter from your gp/consultant may be required. Failure to disclose information may be detrimental to your health and safety during the treatment. There are several risks from withholding information which include, an increased risk of infection, bleeding, compromising the end results and risking further complications, poor healing or scarring.

Additional contraindications may include: Accutane, Allergies, Alopecia, Autoimmune Disease, Blisters, Cancer, Covid-19, Diabetes, Eczema, Epilepsy, Haemophilia, Herpes, Hepatitis, High Blood Pressure, HIV Positive, Issues with wound healing, Keloid Scarring, Organ Transplant, Skin Diseases, Tumours, Growths or Cysts, Undergoing Chemotherapy, Undergoing Radiotherapy. If any of these are applicable to you, please get I touch as this does not automatically mean you are not eligible for this treatment.

  • If you are about to start, are currently having or have been through a cancer treatment, please get in touch to discuss your individual needs. We have many clients that have had Microblading and are always very happy to help.

  • It is not advised to have Microblading if pregnant or whilst breast feeding and a period of 2-3 months after birth is recommended before having this treatment.

  • Microblading is a bespoke service and if your skin has been previously worked on by another artist either through semi permanent makeup or the removal of previous work, it is vital that we see the skin before booking a treatment. This is to check the integrity of the skin and to set realistic expectations as to what is achievable. It’s generally expected to wait 2-3 months after any other treatment before reopening the skin with another.

  • As part of the Microblading treatment, the new shape is drawn out and shown to you before any treatment is carried out. This is done in fine detail. This is an essential part of the process and is included in the treatment cost.

We also offer our brow mapping as a stand alone service (no treatment) which is ideal for those who might wish to have more of an in-depth consultation/ information before committing to the microblading treatment.

  • The Microblading treatment takes approx 2-2.5 hours for the first appointment and approx 1-1.5hrs for the follow up session.

  • As part of the Microblading treatment you have a patch test, in-depth consultation, brow mapping, the Microblading treatment and aftercare products as well as one follow up session.

  • After your Microblading treatment you will be given very specific aftercare to follow. This will be based on your particular needs after we have worked on your skin. This aftercare is 100% your responsibility to follow in order to achieve the best possible healed results.

Generic aftercare will be sent out in advance so you can plan ahead but typically any heat, steam, products on the brow are not advised during the healing stages after Microblading treatment. This includes exercise, sweating, facials, holidays abroad, spa etc. **Following your aftercare represents 50% of your final results and no responsibility can be placed with the artist if this is not adhered to.

  • The pre treatment advice for Microblading is as important as the treatment itself and the aftercare in order to achieve the best possible results. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll be given detailed pre treatment advice to read and follow and agree to. To give you an idea on what to expect, this will include things such as not being sunburnt, no alcohol, caffeine or energy drink prior to treatment, not exercising before the treatment, not taking ibuprofen prior to the treatment and up to 48hrs before. Other factors include to stop retinol products, no botox, fillers or skin peels within 4 weeks of the Microblading treatment.

  • It's recommended not to do any brow maintenance within 7 days of having Microblading. With regards to colouring the brow, it is important we see your natural brow so that we are able to colour match the pigments used.

  • Only excess hair well beyond the desired shape is removed. We recognise that brow hair is extremely precious and so will only remove hairs that are completely unnecessary. As such, this will mean after the treatment and once you are fully healed, you will need to continue to remove these hairs too.

  • In order to allow for two Microblading sessions, healing and time to make any adjustments, it’s recommended to allow 2-3 months if you are planning to have this treatment for a special occasion/event or going abroad. Please get in touch to discuss your individual requirements

  • Yes. In fact both treatments can be very complimentary. It’s recommended to have Microblading before botox unless you are a seasoned botox receiver and are happy with your brows once settled. We’d still recommend approx 2-4 weeks after botox. If you’ve not had botox before, we’d recommend having Microblading first ideally. Please get in touch if you have any further questions.

  • During the Microblading treatment very minimal blood is present. We are likely to see pin prick blood spots within the brow and that’s it. This is also why it is absolutely essential to inform us of any medications prior to treatment that may cause bleeding as this will have a higher risk and less desirable results. This is also why we have a very strict no caffeine, alcohol, energy drinks or ibuprofen advice in place for your to follow 48hrs prior to treatment.

  • This would be a contraindication for this treatment and its very unlikely that this treatment would be suitable. There are some exceptions, so do get in touch if you’d like to know more.

  • Partial Microblading is only applicable if a small area is required to be micro bladed/ filled in. This is defined by the time taken to complete the treatment. If you are unsure, please book a consultation prior to booking,

  • No, we are not insured to perform this treatment whilst you are breast feeding. Please be sure to disclose this before booking or when filling out your forms.

This is the responsibility of the client.

Please note that failure to inform us will result in the treatment not being able to go ahead, and the full cost of the treatment will be requested.

We accept no responsibility for clients who do not inform that they are breast feeding and go ahead with the treatment, then have any complications or results are impacted.

Lash Liner Enhancement

  • Lash liner is a very subtle enhancement to the lash line using semi permanent makeup pigments. This treatment aims to open up and define the eye area as well as giving the illusion of extra length to the lashes. This is an alternative and more subtle result to an eyeliner treatment.

  • The lash liner can last between 2-4 years.

  • This treatment takes approx 2hrs.

  • Each client has different preferences as to how subtle or enhanced they’d like this result to be so this is entirely bespoke. This would also largely done on how much your body retains after one session, this can vary form person to person and if aftercare is followed. Most clients find one treatment sufficient to create a beautifully soft result and frame the eyes. If you do require a follow up session this should be done within 6 weeks.

It’s recommended to book both the initial and a follow up session at the same time.

  • Before the lash liner treatment you’ll be required to have a patch test, remove contact lenses and ensure all eye makeup is removed. Please do not drink any caffeine, energy drinks or alcohol prior to your treatment- min 24 hrs.

  • There is minimal down time for this treatment. Keeping the area clean and free from infection as well as avoiding heat/sun/steam/facials in the next 24-48 hrs is advised. We recommend not applying mascara within the next 5-7 days.

  • It’s possible to have both top and bottom lash liner. Please get in touch to chat over the options.

  • Pain is relative to each client. This treatment is mildly uncomfortable and ointments can be applied to make you more comfortable throughout.

  • There is no bleeding during this treatment.

  • This treatment is completely waterproof, smudge proof and sweat proof.

  • It’s advised not to have this treatment during pregnancy and whilst breast feeding. Please wait 1-2 months after breast feeding stops to have this treatment and until hormones are more settled.

  • This treatment can only be carried out on those who are over 18

  • Please get in touch to notify us of any medication you are on before booking this lash liner treatment.

  • Those who are under 18, pregnant, breast feeding and on certain types of medication are not advised to have this lash liner treatment. If you suffer from any eye conditions, have broken skin or currently have an eye infection, this treatment is not advised at this time. Please do get in touch to chat over the options available to you.

  • If you’ve had this treatment before (elsewhere) and have any colour left in your skin, it’s advised to book a consultation prior to booking. This is so we can check the skin, the colour that’s there and to ensure there’s no scarring present. Please do not book without checking first. It is your responsibility to inform your artist of previous work carried out. If a treatment is booked and it cannot go ahead, your booking fee is not transferable and will be forfeited.

  • It is possible to book more than one treatment in one day depending on the time required. Please check the duration for each treatment and bear in mind your artist will require a break in-between treatments. Please get in touch with any questions.

Lip Blush

  • This is inserting a pigment into the lips to add colour. This is more of a pixelated finish rather than a lipstick effect.

  • This treatment is suitable for anyone over 18, not pregnant or breast feeding. Those with very thin lips with lines through them (eg smokers lines) can find the results less and we can advise on how best to proceed if you’d really like this treatment. Please bear in mind that there is very specific pre care advice for this treatment.

  • There is a possibility that this treatment can stimulate this virus if you already suffer from this however, with anti viral medication this can easily be managed. Please get in touch to find out more.

  • Any colour in theory is available for this treatment. If you require a specific colour, please let us know in advance so we can ensure we have colours in. We quite often mix bespoke colours or order colours in. The natural colour and undertone of your lip will also effect the outcome due to naturally occurring blue or pink undertones. Please get in touch for a consultation if you’d like to check first.

  • It's recommended to book a follow up session for this treatment at the same time as booking the initial session. This is to make minor adjustments/tweaks to the lips and not to add complete colour or go over the entire lip once you have got used to the finished result.

  • Lip blush can last up to 3 years depending on the density of colour chosen. It’s recommended to have a colour boost at 1-2 years to keep the colour bright.

  • Lip blush is implanted within the skin so, after 7 days healing, if you wish to wear different coloured lipstick on top of your lip blush, this is absolutely fine. the finished result will be a matt look, so simply add gloss for more impact.

  • Lip blushing can take up to 3-3.5hrs depending on a few elements.

  • Due to the timings of the lip blush, at the moment, it is better to call to book this treatment. Alternatively, you can message directly on Instagram.

  • With each treatment, everyone is different but generally there’s a small period where the lips may go through several stages of healing. This is approx 7 days and you will be fully healed/colour visible by 4 weeks.

  • Prior to your lip blush treatment it is vital that your lips are fully hydrated. No dry skin, flakes or sores. Please get in touch for specific care instructions. Please bear in mind that if your lips are not in good condition then the treatment cannot go ahead. This will result in the booking fee being forfeited.

  • It’s absolutely fine to have lip blush after having lip fillers. We recommend receiving the fillers firsthand waiting approximately 6-8 weeks after this before having the lip blush treatment. Please do get in touch if you have any further questions.

Top Ups for Semi Permanent Make Up

  • Not all. In most cases we book a follow up session 4-8 weeks after the first session. It’s advised to get this booked in at the same time as the first appointment. Occasionally top ups may not be required but we do recommend booking one in just incase.

  • As part of our t&c’s and cancellation policy, we do kindly request a min of 48hrs (exc weekends) to allow us time to try and fill the space. If sufficient notice isn’t given, a £50 fee is payable to cover this space.

  • If we are given 48hrs notice (excluding weekends) then you are able to reschedule your follow up free of charge. However, any less than this means we would be unlikely to fill the gap and so our standard fee of £50 is chargeable. Please do try and give as much notice as possible.

Brow Lamination

  • Brow lamination is a natural progression from a standard brow treatment. Suitable for all ages, skin types and hair and with the ability to style as much, or as little as you like this is a great treatment for everyone. • Brow lamination can last anything from 6-10 weeks depending on aftercare followed, type and strength of hair. Most clients will find around 8 weeks is normal to still have some product still within the brow. Factors affecting how long it lasts will be products/makeup in the brow before treatment and over use of products after the treatment. Having a brow lamination to compliment your tint would usually also allow the hair to absorb the tint more making the colour last longer too.

If you’d like specific advice on how to get the most out of your brow lamination, and make the results last longer, please ask at your next appointment and we’d be happy to pass on our top tips.

Pigment is implanted into the skin.

  • Results generally last 2-3 years however a lot depends on skin, age, skin products used and aftercare followed.

Henna

  • Henna is a type of plant extract tint that stains the skin and penetrates the hair follicle to add colour. It leaves a temporary shadow of colour on the skin whilst simultaneously colouring each strand of hair.

  • Henna is the perfect upgrade from a standard brow treatment as it lasts longer and for those wishing to achieve a more defined or bolder brow finish. Suitable for clients not yet ready for a semi permanent makeup brow option and also as a way of refreshing semi permanent makeup in the area.

As henna stains the skin, this is ideal for covering gaps on a temporary basis. Recommended for events or holidays. However the skin stain is temporary so we do not recommend this option as a long term solution to gaps in the brow as the stain can last up to 7-10days only.

  • Henna brows are a more defined, sharper brow style and overall bolder finish. Have a look at our gallery, or visit our Instagram page for more images.

Removal / Lightening of SMPU

  • Semi permanent makeup removal is the process that actively removes or lightens existing colour in the skin using a scientific solution.

  • If you are looking to remove any unwanted colour from a spmu treatment, this treatment may be for you. If you are unsure, please book a consultation prior to booking the treatment.

  • Ideally, each client would be seen in clinic for a face to face consultation prior to any removal service. This is to assess condition of the skin, as well as look at colours within the skin. This will enable us to best advise on treatments moving forward as well as managing expectations on results that can be achieved.

  • We are unable to predict how many sessions are required to achieve the desired result, however usually a minimum amount of sessions are needed. For example 1-3 to see results. Each clients requirements differ depending on amount of colour in the skin and how old this is.

  • With any treatment, we are unable to guarantee results as so much relies on your skin, how you heal and what products are in the skin that need removing. It’s important to fully understand the process and have reasonable expectations on results as well a reasonable time frame. This is a process and you must be prepared to be patient. There may be limitations your artist faces with each case, so its important to chat through in detail first prior to booking.

Model Appointments

  • We currently take bookings via Instagram messages or emails for Model appointments with our new staff member Ras.

  • Model appointments are heavily discounted. This is payable in advance in full in order to secure one of these appointments and is nonrefundable.

  • Currently all model appointments with Ras are offered exclusively on Fridays between 1030 and 4:30 pm.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Yes, absolutely, please just give us a minimum of 48 working office hours notice in order to reschedule your appointment.

  • We require a minimum of 48 working office hours in order to be able to reschedule or cancel an appointment and for a booking fee to be transferred. Without this, the booking fee is lost a new booking fee is required to rebook a treatment.

Failure to give 48 working office hours notice (this does not include weekends) to reschedule or cancel an appointment will result in the loss of the booking fee and depending on if we can fill the space, a min of 50% charge of the treatment booked will be due for payment. If we are unable to fill the slot, a 100% charge will be automatically charged.

Please note that weekend hours are not applicable for the notice period as emails are not monitored and this does not allow us time to fill the space.

  • You’re able to cancel your appointment at any time however we do ask for as much notice as possible in order to be able to fill the space. Cancelling on the day would result in the loss of the booking fee AND the full treatment cost is payable.

  • All booking are strictly non-refundable and payable in advance to secure your date and time in the diary. You are able to transfer a booking fee if a minimum of 48 working office hours notice is given and the space can be filled.

  • We send out a list of very important medical questions to enable us to book you in for the recommended treatment. All treatments also have exclusions listed on the website or in the FAQ sections so it is vital you read all of this information before booking to check your suitability. Or book a consultation or email into the Brow Clinic to check in advance.

If you arrive to your appointment which can no longer go ahead (such as if pregnant ir breast feeding for SPMU) The full treatment price will be payable in order to cover the time of the appointment slot given and booked out for you. We will do our best to offer an alternative treatment on the day, restrictions, permitting.

  • If you feel in any way concerned that you may be charged for cancelling at short notice, we do recommend taking out insurance for this.

We do ask for a min of 48hrs before a charge applies. However. If we can fill the space we are more than happy to not charge but this is subject to the space being taken for a like-for-like amount. Please get in touch with any questions.

  • As a business we book out our time and expertise to carry our services to be paid for. If these services are cancelled at short notice, or a client doesn’t show up, this time is wasted, we lose money and our business wouldn’t continue if we didn’t have a protocol in place that allows both business and client to know exactly what’s expected from both sides prior to booking.

By booking in with us, you agree to follow our terms and conditions of business. We do take minimal amount booking fees rather than charging the full treatment price and if you can give as much notice as possible, chances are we’d be able to fill the space.

Please get in touch with any questions or if you think you might not be able to go ahead with your appointment and we’d be happy to help.

Arriving Late?

  • We do ask that you plan your route and allow plenty of time for traffic so that your appointment can start on time. This is to allow us plenty of time to speak to you about your needs and carry out the treatment as expected. If you are late the treatment time will be reduced or we may need to reschedule.

  • If you’re running late, we do ask that you let us know in advance either by email or Instagram messages. Depending on how late you are, we may need to reschedule your appointment to allow us to carry out the require treatment with the correct amount of time. If your appointment does need to be rescheduled because of this, the full treatment price would be payable and the booking fee would need to also be repaid in order to book a future appointment.

  • We do ask that you plan your route and allow plenty of time for any traffic. We will try and accommodate any lateness as best we can, however with multiple clients seen and the importance on receiving good customer service care and attention during your treatment we may need to reschedule. This would then incur the cost of the treatment.
